If You Say Please

Jazmyne Monroe

Would you believe me if I told you-

you don’t have to touch me, I melt anyway.

Your voice makes me leak.

I memorize your moan, every damn note.

I want more…always more.

Humming every note as I suck and swallow you whole—

I can’t help myself.

I crave late nights that resemble my daydreams:

sensual poetry,

intimate conversation,

tequila that makes us honest.

Tequila that makes us honest enough to spill all the words we never say sober.

I imagine you on top of me - hungry and certain.

Eyes never leaving mine as you slide inside me

We both release a sigh that resembles one of the most beautiful melodies I’ve ever heard.

Bodies intertwined,

moving in rhythm—

poetry made flesh,

passion painted perfectly between my thighs

I’d let you have me— if you asked.

But even then

I’d hesitate a little

just to see

if you say please.
