Destiny

Lorenz

I am destiny .

Blind to all suffering

and all happiness .

I am neither compassionate

nor vengeful .

I only know what is right

beyond good and evil .

Pleasure and indecency

cannot corrupt me .

Even the gods themselves

are subject to my judgment .

Time is my servant .

 death my twin .

Sometimes we swape clothes .

Our roles become confused .

We are one face for the multitude.

Souls revere or curse us .

The reckless  always rebellious .

In the name of eternity

I welcome all renunciation

and all  despair .

when you look in the eyes of your beloved,

it's me you see .

Trust me, we were meant to meet

playing out this tragedy called life

whose a wise elder weaves the web .

I am this encounter with yourself

on the path strewn with fragrant roses

and fiery thistles .

But you don't recognize me ,

because you don't know

the end of the story

which is only reflection

in an ever-changing mirror .

Come,I 'm waiting for you !

 Writing the lines

of once was and will

no longer be !

In the balance,will be placed

intoxications of all follies ,

insane or heroic passions !

Kings,jesters ,priests and courtesans

will appear,hiding the shame

of their nakedness .

 So ,you will  listen

to this magnificent symphony

rising from decomposed word

 the revelation .

Despite your fear and escape

I will continue to love

your sublime ugliness .

 Me, your destiny .

We are not prisoners of destiny - we are its material, its voice, its reflection in a mirror that changes along with us. A person discovers their true nature only when faced with what cannot be changed.
        A strong and beautiful piece!

Is our destiny is what we shape it to be ?

          • Ellen Marsell

Our destiny isn’t a fixed road, but it’s not entirely in our hands either. We shape it through our choices, our character, and the way we respond to what we can’t change. Destiny gives us the conditions, but we give them meaning.

Your poem "I am destiny" examines the intricate relationship between individuals and the concept of destiny, portraying it as an impartial force that supersedes human emotions, judgments, and moral dichotomies. The poem posits that destiny is an inescapable aspect of life, inextricably linked with love, suffering, and the diverse experiences that define existence. This poem serves to prompt readers to reevaluate their understanding of destiny and acknowledge its presence in their lives, ultimately fostering acceptance of life's complexities and uncertainties. It aims to cultivate a sense of serenity regarding the inevitability of fate and the beauty of individual experiences within that framework.

Everything is already written but the individual has the right to deny it .
