FLOATING / FLOTAR

Carlos Alberto BUSTILLOS

FLOATING

In the water, warm, drifting,
water and salt, the freedom of the open sea,
everything tastes like the waves of life.

In the shade beneath a parasol,
resting on the sand, life itself—
how beautiful it is to do nothing.

Between sandcastles and the salt,
life finds its refuge on the shore.

FLOTAR

En el agua, caliente, nadando,
agua y sal, agua de mar libre,
todo sabe a olas de la vida.

En la sombra de una sombrilla,
en la arena descansando, vida,
qué bonito es no hacer nada.

Entre castillos de arena y la sal,
la vida se refugia en la playa.

A charming poem of the beach and it's lazy joyfulness. Loved its warmth
