The Storm

Katie B.

The angst of the wind arose

As the fields bellowed

Wheat lay flat

Wind imbittered the soil

Shafts murmured

The windmill spun as if strummed

Tractors halted

The sky a sea of electricity

Clouds swollen and dark released

Rain that churned the river

Into a muddy boil

In stillness the world reset

The sun's day begins anew

The sky a sea of remembrances

Washed in hues of pink and blue

A most beautiful picture painted in poetic words. Nature in its majesty rules all and all bend to it twirl in it. In all its forms there is beauty. Very nicely written

Nature can fill you with joy, but upset her and the wrath can be devastating.
