IT MAKES NO DIFFERENCE

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

When Rick Danko sings
It Makes No Difference
In a Summer
Mixed with rain
The heavy blossom
Soaked in tears
A love
Now restrained.

The windows glass
A rigid witness
A shadow
In the room
Curtains sway
To music loud
Now reflection
To fill with gloom.

The centre of
Its magic
A night you
Never forget
Despite weeks
Becoming months
Then years
Now regret.
