i heard a robin singing in my apple tree
a lovely lullaby with a gentle melody
every note in key every note in tune
touched my heart inside when he began to croon
i sat there and listened as he sang to me
in my mind forever his song will always be
when his song was over he flew into the sky
i wont forget the robin or his lullaby
hope he will come back to my apple tree
sing again once more his lullaby to me
his lovely robin song he sang to me that day
with its lovely melody that melt my heart away
