I may not be around since reality loves to buckle and collapse at the most inconvenient times. I will eventually get back with you, once I conquer whatever is before Me making Me absent. But until then, wish Me luck, for I will need all I can muster.
Happy Birthday, Melissa
A toast to forty years, a milestone bright,
For a cousin I've just recently brought to light.
Though we've never met, a bond has grown,
From the seeds of family, newly sown.
You, Melissa, a woman of grace and might,
Intelligent, compassionate, and shining so bright.
A mother's devotion, a heart full of care,
A successful spirit, beyond all compare.
From a line of music, your own song you play,
With crystals and reiki, you brighten the day.
You searched for a connection, a missing piece,
And found me with efforts that will never cease.
Though fear and confusion once held me at bay,
Your persistence and kindness lit up the way.
I'm so proud of the person you've come to be,
And I'm grateful you reached out and found me.
So happy birthday, cousin, may your dreams all come true,
I hope for the day I can share a meal with you.
Happy 40th birthday, Melissa!
I'm so incredibly grateful that you went to such great lengths to find me. Getting to know you over this past year has been a wonderful gift. I am so proud of everything you have accomplished and the amazing person you are. I hope you have a day that is as beautiful and special as you are. I look forward to the day we can finally meet and celebrate in person.

A beautiful birthday wish in verse and rhyme nicely done
Your poem, so lovingly written, speaks to celebration of a newly found connection that deserves celebration. My husband was adopted at birth, and never knew his biological parents. However, fate was kind to him, and at the age of 65 he was reunited with his birth father who was 88 at the time. We shared 12 wonderful years with him, before he died at age 100. I'm so glad that fate was kind to you and Melissa. Wishing you many wonderful years getting to know each other.
That is truly a wonderful blessing! This definitely came at Me from left field. I even went so far as to turning her down when she tried to find Me. The whole time I was wondering if it was a setup. But Melissa was truly determined. It's My dad's side. And that side I already determined that I would never meet them. It's a huge convoluted toxic tragedy that should never happened to anyone. But I digress. It has been an experience that I've never had before. And even though the idea of an actual family is absolutely alien and completely foreign to Me, I'm more than willing to see how well it goes. I'm anything but scared of change.
Life is an amazing journey, and the experience is what shapes us. Wishing you all the wonderful experiences that make it so.
