The Well

John Lee

I hope that my words quench your thirst for love,

I hope that my well never runs dry,

I hope to be your first drink to your last.

If the day comes that you no longer feel loved,

then seal me up, so no one may taste the bitterness of my cup.

Such a great metaphor here and followed through so poetically it rings with romance. Very nicely done a fave
