Lockdown made most mentally and socially drown,
Even walking outside 5 years later, see them frown.
Freedoms were ripped away and replaced with fear, so called "safety",
I'm getting to my point right now so please, just stop being hasty,
Suffering inward, I think that many of us have denial and PTSD,
Government is a fat controller, intentions aren't at all friendly.
Brutally bashed heavily by authority, why is nobody angry?

A certain alien had gone home by then. He didn't experience it (heehee for him).
Lol, he went home in 2019.
Was he angry when he went home? lol.
Hope not lol.
How about you? Is you angry? lol.
I was angry and in my anger was rebellious but found it diluted by the deluded. A good write about mass control by the powerful and misinformed.
I don't blame you, we were all duped.
Seems covid was the excuse for many nefarious political dealings which has left the general population yet more oppressed. Thanks for the write.
Indeed sadly, thanks very much.
I am all for socially responsible policies, and sometimes such policies are a lesser "evil" than all out good. What amazes me is how black and white people have become on it. Either you are all-in or all-out. That thinking kills on both ends of it. I think we saw that with Covid-19. Social distancing, wearing masks, etc. are all not new things. They've happened as long as viruses have been killing. That said, to deny the effects of such social distancing...and to carry it on well past when it should have been carried? What's more, and I think this is the heart of the poem and the problem in society...who can we actually trust? Power structures abuse power, those vying for power misinform to get their way, and people are all left to figure it out...or not...for themselves. An important poem, Shaun. Glad you expressed it, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Indeed, like you say who can we actually trust. Thanks for the great comment.
