Someone shouted:
"The economy is in doldrums."
The finance minister said:
"I am raising taxes on income."
Economists joined in:
"That is most prudent
under the present situation."
And thus we prosper.
There I see communism and capitalism
shake hands;
congratulate each other over
the all-pervading oppression of taxation.
Covid came.
Within no time, scientists
found a new cure.
Humans sent probes to Mars.
Finally, the plan is being executed—
to execute ourselves with
artificial intelligence.
Yet no one seemed to find
an alternative to taxation.
Brothers and sisters,
let us pay homage and show reverence
to the genius of being fooled
by the same theory, dressed anew
for generations.
And here come the messengers of God,
banging their donation boxes:
Donation for being allowed to live—
the real taxation of life:
being taxed for living.
Someone whispers:
"Pssst… God demands taxes
on death.
Without paying death taxes,
you wouldn’t be laid to rest."
Now that we understand God’s design,
we profoundly apologise to the
venerable Nobel Laureates for
casting aspersions.
I wonder:
Do we need God?
Do we need the experts?
All problems—one solution: taxation.

I hold the same sentiments and am wholly behind you on this one. if I could figure out how to get along without government I would and as for God well Nature works just as well.

Seems the main theme here would be Taxation.... So one has to ask _ who taxes how much to whom, when why and to what effect...?
Answer: Do not tax wealth, but tax the most vulnerable.
If you detect some anger here, you may well be right.
I am glad for your anger and your question. Taxation is an age old process. World has moved so much on technical aspects, social aspects but governments still can't figure out how to run countries without taxing ability to earn and then taxing that taxed money on consumption. Great minds leading to geeat outcome- pure garbage. Thank you very much for your support 🙏
I get where you are coming from - I think. From where I stand I know that governments must raise revenue in order to provide for all manner of infrastructure and services. The real question then is how to tax and who to tax? For me it is tax wealth as our societies become more and more unequal.
You could then embark on a separate debate with respect to how that money is spent. Deep debates which never end.
Rebellion… this hits hard. The bite, the satire, the way you peel every system back to the same empty core… it lands. The ending question keeps echoing… because you’re right to ask it. Very, very well done! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
