Dust in the Wind

gray0328

I close my Eyes - the Veil descends -

An instant flights - Eternity bends -

My Dreams, brief Specters - drift in Light -

A curious Glimpse - before the Night -

The World dissolves - a quiet Sigh -

Dust in the Wind - Boundless, Dry -

The Same Old Song - a fleeting Tone -

A Drop of Life - in Seas unknown -

What Work we build - Tumbling low -

We blind our Hearts - refuse to know -

Yet Dust we are - a Timeless Thread -

Wind bears us forth - where none have led -

Do not hang on - the Earth shall fade -

Forever slips - no wealth can trade -

The Minutes pass - like Shadows bend -

Eternal Breath - shall be the End -

A most beautiful poetic expression of nature and life and its unfolding until it ends. Lovely
