At the center of it all

Baker

Blue haired girl.

All black clothes.

With just your smile.

You found my soul.

You welcomed me in.

Your family, so much love.

But mine such a mess.

Something I can't change.

That I'm not proud of.

At the center of it all.

You're the Sun.

Your opinion.

The only one that matters.

I cherish it the most.

All of the tears.

Of joy, or the pain.

Holding you close.

I remember it all to this day.

And I can still be.

What you desire.

Lift your heart.

Be the friend to just talk.

And when the world is against you.

The partner you need and want.

You were right that day.

When you said he broke me.

If hurt my heart.

I fell down.

I stumbled.

But I'm still here.

And it won't define me.

Your love is my only compass.

In my uncertain world.

I want you to feel seen.

To feel like you matter.

I know you haven't as of late.

And I'm so sorry I've done that.

And I know.

I know I don't show it.

I've been too scared to admit.

But without you in my life.

I would drift in the darkness.

The other half of me amiss.

Blue haired girl.

It's always been you.

At the center of it all.

You still have my heart.

I hope you carry mine.

And believe in this love.

A poem of more platonic love than passionate in this poem. It seems a mix of narrative and conversational in style. Well done
