A DEEP BREATH

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

I pause to take
A deep breath
While silent clouds
Drift by
Upon a gentle breeze
Of a silent sky.

They remind me
Of your nature
Quiet calm within
A gesture of
Your loyalty
Beneath a veil so thin.

I could never match
Your perfect world
I am a poet deep and wide
Headstrong and suffering
In my artistic
Pain to hide.
