Depression up,
Depression down,
Depression out in a night gown,
Depression high,
Depression low,
Depression pink and indigo.
Depression rise,
Depression fall,
Depression then rules overall.
Depression eat,
Depression puke,
Depression’s a depressive nuke.
Depression grow,
Depression shrink,
Depression in a roller rink.
Depression white,
Depression black,
Depression always coming back.
Depression in,
Depression out,
Depression tall, hard, very stout.
Depression holds,
Depression drops,
But no, depression never stops.

All so true and more for some people than others. So well described in color no less. Can't say I love depression but loved the poem
Indeed! Yeah, no love for depression. But much love for your support, my dear friend! Glad it delivered. 🕳️🌊🖤🙏
You are most welcome my friend
We know someone (or two or three) who's never depressed. A certain glugger! lol.
Ah-gah-gah-gah-glug-glug! It’s hard to depress (bend?) iron, Popeye says! He eats plenty glugging ________ spinach. Feel free to fill in…nope, don’t! 😂🤣
And he's always ready for _____________ and don't fill that in either! lol.

Well written, true, and honest . The poem explores the pervasive and cyclical nature of depression, illustrating its impact on the poet's life. It depicts how depression can fluctuate in intensity and form, yet remains a constant presence that is difficult to escape. And yet you are painting and seeking to articulate the often unspoken reality of depression, raising awareness of its impact and providing a voice to those who may feel isolated in their experiences. It serves as both a personal reflection and a collective acknowledgment of mental health challenges. You're not alone; we all go through this in our lives.
Thank you, my dear friend! Your words mean more than I can express. Always grateful for your insights, analysis, and support! 🕳️🌊🖤🙏
Oh my, it makes one feel torn and exhausted and forever anxious 🕊️🙏
It sure does! Thanks for your support, my friend! Always appreciated! 🕳️🌊🖤🙏
