Silent yelling

Maplespal

Desperately without any coming sound,
with nobody standing near me around,
my body tenses as I try so hard to shout,
no understanding of why nothing is coming out.
Watching with growing fear as they walk away,
unaware of the speeding danger coming today.
I can see the future destructive path,
the angle of approach calculated with simple math.
No alarms or other warnings heard around about,
desperately trying to yell my warnings out.
Watching as the two paths they collide
today I watched as they all died.

Here the absence of naming the person of object make this poem all the more powerful. Nicely done
