Bay area blues

Lorenz

Once upon in the bay area.

Long before the story .

the wailing of a migrant violin.

A mermaid  playing the lyre .

Zyther on the rocks

who speaks in ethereal riddles.

A blue night rhapsody

chasing an American in Paris...

You are more beautiful after love ,

before getting lost in the waters

of the bay...

Schuman resonnance makes me dizzy

and this twilight that Chopin

will never had experienced ...

 Lucifer tore up yesterday's contract

and sold souls .

  Damned post-industrial gospel

on the road to Altamont ..

 I feel nostalgic for a time ,

when girls were naked

beneath their modesty

in night in white satin ...

 Fiery hair that offered itself

in disabled tubular beauty .

 Here ,we are confidants

of the palid hearth ,

our young wings cut by

so many lost hearts...

Deadly orchard

under the black moon ,

Lilith offering herself

to the whim of a false note...

I rock out to an old Brahm's blues,

waiting for the grim-dreamer .

Its suicidal face of seaweed

and rotten smell ...

 Now the knell has sounded.

I have to walk  the faithful god

 on the bay area ...

So many songs so many memories haunt these shores. Death but a change and I don't want to give up those tunes. A lovely walk down memory lane.

The past never disappears; it turns into a resonance that shapes our perception of the present. Your poem moves within that resonance. It is beautiful, memorable, and profound.

          • Lorenz

Inspired by the listening of the Schuman resonance !
