it's sunday
and yet, there's hardly any sun today
the sky is grey
but the ground is bright
with the world washed in shades of white
everyone i know
is praying for more snow
in hopes of a snow day
oh i hope the snow will stay

I love this and it brings memories but different ones. When I went to school there were no snow days, rain, shine, snow or blizzard school went on. A fun and well worked poem with the rhyme
