The Last to Know the Sequel

How come I was the last to know?

I should have known when people kept asking if there was a thing going on between us.

I should have known when my parents started to say we would probably end up together.

I should have known when everything around me started turning pink — not just the flowers but the way I saw you.

I should have known when talking to you I started to feel the happiest I felt in a long time.

I should have known when just seeing your face would make my day.

Gosh—  why didn't I know?

Why was I the last one to realize I was in love with you?

Lovely poem! And cute story...it's often that it's a good match when others see it before we do!
