When I was a kid, I used to think darkness was the scariest thing,
but growing up showed me that being left behind can be scarier than darkness.
When I was a kid, I used to think monsters were the scariest creatures,
unaware of humans.
When I was a kid, I thought being grown up would solve my silly problems,
but my grown-up self told me that those silly problems were the real fun
because being grown up is not easy.
When I was a kid, I really wanted to grow up as fast as possible,
but now my grown-up self really wants to go back in time
just to spend one day with the people who loved me for me,
not hoping to get something in return,
just to spend one day playing in the ground with no responsibility,
no stress,
just with some silly problems.
I really want to go back in time
and tell my younger self
not to wish to be grown up

The nature of man is to be never content. A child that wants to be an adult, an adult that wants to return to being a child. Old want to be young, young want to be old. A lovely write
