Bewildered Serendipity

Kais Ahamad

Destiny is what keeps your soul ignite,

Heart searching for what keeps it

smiling and crying at night.

But thoughts bewildered,

Not certain of fate.

Hearts are puzzled,

And fire escapes.

Desires enamored,

Enamored the course.

And you , perhaps unloved .

You lost a bit but longed enough,

To make it all a curse.

So what is fortune?

Are u destined to be in bliss,

If the stranger delights?

Or are you destined to long for love,

A love you may never find?

Is this the definition of life,

Or it is the reason for death?

A pleasant torment - you hate your self, you hate the people, you hate the city.

You hurt enough to know your love was just  bewildered serendipity .

Searching for the ideal leaves us always short but settling for what is may well leave us short as well. If one can be happy with being short then all the better. A mind provoking poem
