Tis the Season

Violet_Writes

Tis the seasons, they say, for joy and gifts, for singing carols and hymns.
Tis the season for faith and love, for family to gather around the tree.
Tis the seasons, they say, for cookies and candy canes.
Don’t forget about eggnog and Christmas pie.
Tis the season of our faith to thank the One above for being born and saving man.
Tis the seasons for boots and coats, for a hat and gloves too.
Tis the season to give and take, tis the season for a smile on your face.
It is the season that One so high came down from heaven to die.
Tis the season for great joy and thanks,
For Jesus our Lord being born on Christmas Day.
