the little horn

Tristan Robert Lange

the little horn
is fucking adorned,
erotic like white house porn
itching at the crotch—forlorned—
deformed, not born.

erection torn.

abyssal allegiance worn.
cele-fucking-bration
of his ne’er mighty,
little, itty-bitty,
teenie weenie,
minion-sized,
pitiful
horn.

I think that this one is already labeled and clear to what it applies. Unfortunate that it is all too true.

    • Tristan Robert Lange

My friend, thank you…indeed, I left subtlety at the door for this one, label aside even. 🤣 Honestly, satire barely has to try anymore, it just shows up ready to make press briefings with a straight face. You picked up on that immediately. Grateful for your presence here, Soren. 🎭🤏🔥🙏

You are most welcome, my friend

I wish I could support the cause financially, or at least purchase a copy, but I'm hopeful that this movement will prosper. You definitely caught my attention with the cussing - very seldom do we have writers with enough guts. Even less do we have writers willing to challenge the status quo. Very nice.

My friend, your comment really moved me…thank you. I’m glad the rawness, the fire, the refusal to play nice all connected with you. I write from the gut, and it means a lot when someone sees and appreciate that. Grateful you stopped by and shared your insights! 🎭🤏🔥🙏

            The pleasure is mine!

Some images from Old Testament book of Daniel here. P is in disguise - looks a bit like a rhino, as in that pic there! lol.

            • Tristan Robert Lange

Yesss! Indeed he does! 🤣 Daniel would approve (and the cursing would mean nothing to him because he didn't speak Englis ! LOL!) All jokes aside, that is exactly where I was drawing from and I knew you would immediately recoglug that, you know Much aglugglugglugglug, my friend! 🎭🤏🔥🙏

The poem appears to critique power dynamics and the often absurd nature of authority figures, particularly in a political context. The imagery of the "little horn" suggests something that is both insignificant and yet adorned or celebrated, perhaps pointing to the inflated egos and aspirations of those in power who may not have the substance or capability to match their positions.

              • Tristan Robert Lange

My friend, you captured it…the mock grandeur, the ego inflated beyond its own weight, the absurdity of celebrating something so empty. That’s the heart of the piece, and I’m grateful you named it so sharply. 🎭🤏🔥🙏

Friends like big D, who needs enemies.
Always thought little Zenlenk should have slapped him a few times, just in a harmonious sort of way.
Still, the wee guy has Europe behind him. Did I actually say that? Somebody slap me hard now.

                  • Tristan Robert Lange

Paul, this cracked me up…the way you weave humor into the politics is brilliant. Yeah, our wee friend has made quite a mess, harmony not included. Thanks for the read and the laugh, my friend. 🎭🤏🔥🙏

I choked on my chocolate while reading this one!! fantastic wordplay and political commentary!

The horrors of middle school until equilibrium and 'sanity' is found, a rarity it would appear. 🕊️🙏
