Holiday Movie Marathon

Matthew R. Callies

We start the night with dancing Holiday Inn,
Then White Christmas drifts softly through the glow;
It’s a Wonderful Life lifts hearts again,
While Home Alone lets Kevin run the show.

Then Grinch schemes loudly, plotting Christmas theft,
And Rudolph guides the sleigh through stormy gray;
The Santa Clause takes over when no elf is left,
As Charlie Brown finds meaning in his way.

Then Frosty marches on with buttoned cheer,
And Die Hard adds its thrills beneath the tree;
The Muppet Christmas Carol wanders near,
As A Christmas Story shoots its reverie.

A Boy Called Christmas whispers magic, then—
Polar Express arrives, and dreams roll in again.

    It seems that there are more than enough Christmas movies with National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Die Hard as well and on we go. Good write
