The Resilience of Winter Jasmine

In the white cold of winter,

blooming quietly and freely

in the heart of the darkest silence.

 

Its silence is full of the sound of life;

deep roots,

bright hope,

without cry or clamor.

 

And we learned:

Hope is neither a shout nor restless fervor—

it is a calm and steady breath,

the reviving sun of tomorrow

in the depths of harshness. 

 

 

گلِ یخ

 

تاب‌آوری گلِ یخ
،در سرمای سفید زمستان
شکفتنی آرام و آزادانه
.در دل تاریک‌ترین خاموشی‌ها

 

سکوتش سرشار از صدای زندگی؛
،ریشه‌های ژرف
،امید روشن
.بی‌فریاد و بی‌غوغا

 

:و ما آموختیم
--امید، نه فریاد است و نه شورِ بی‌قرار
،نفسی آرام و پیوسته
زندگی‌بخش آفتاب فردا
.در ژرفای بی‌مهری
