Lady Earth

Lady Earth stands proud,

A valiant soul of color in a void with darkness all around,

Lady Earth stands proud,

Elegant white dress that shrouds,

Hair flows as green and blue waves of liquid gold,

Blowing up in heat and freezing cold,

Lady Earth stands for us,

Lady Earth takes care of us,

With eyes as bright and kind as she is maternal,

With a touch so warm and geothermal,

Lady Earth gives us her all, 

From summer, to winter, to spring, to fall,

Lady Earth stand proud,

Bright and warm as she chuckles aloud,

Lady Earth’s soft touch and support,

Makes us all dance in the hope of court,

As time passes and days turn into night,

Something’s festering, like a parasitic mite,

Her green is fading slowly,

Something so small that she considers it lowly,

Mother Earth stands tall,

Her emerald green is fading,

Her blue is gone and that is all,

But she doesn’t do any complaining,

Mother Earth is hot,

She running up a fever,

What is this for nought,

Nobody sees it either,

Mother Earth is sick,

Yet our thoughts don't click,

Mother Earth doesn’t mind,

But I do, she’s one of a kind,

Protect our Mother Earth,

Our fair lady,

Protect our Mother Earth,

Protect Earth Gladey,

Mother Earth needs us,

She is content with us,

She provides for us,

She nurtures and loves us,

Yet we harm her,

We take from her,

We steal from her,

We hurt her,

I won’t stand for it any more,

If not for her than it’s for us,

This subject matter is burning to my core,

I’m going to cause a fuss,

Trees fall and water raise,

Leaving behind fresh decay,

Carbon dioxide poisons her, 

Unchanged actions continue to blur,

Lady Earth in her elegant white dress,

Smiling down maternally as warm as the sun,

Lady Earth’s song, so gracious for us to be blessed,

We go to far, she turns her back, done,

Lady Earth in an elegant dress,

Dances slowly to a willing beat,

Lady Earth, trying her best,

Where the provided meet,

As time passes, 

As it flows like sand from glasses,

Lady Earth smiled as it shared from her masses,

The provided stands strong, in unity,

Lady Earth in her elegant white dress,

Shining brighter and healthier, she's so impressed,

We’ve made a change,

On her behalf we made an exchange,

Lady Earth in her elegant white dress,

Lady Earth smiles brighter than the rest,

Her smile so warm, her colors so vibrant,

Because those who made an effort, defiant,

Mother Earth,

Lady Earth,

The Earth,

Our Earth.

We have to take care of Lady/Mother Earth just as she did for us.
