Isn't it funny
That I HATE YOU
has more emotions
And feelings
than I LOVE YOU ever does?
We truly hate someone
only if we feel they are ours
to love,
to cherish,
to hate.
Still at the end of the day
We seek their shoulder
To find our own peace and comfort.

Hate the bookend to love, its twin but more often felt less expressed in words than its sibling but more often shown in action. A lovely pair and a lovely poem
