It was a day
Without words
Half glances
Careful thought
Mundane tasks
Emotion taut.
Seven years long
Good times and bad
A long winding road
Happy and sad.
Finality crashed
Like a hole in the floor
You packed up your things
Disappeared through the door
A state of deep mourning
Quietness of the room
There still fell echoes
Of your high heel shoes.
In distance a thud
Of car door to close
The sound of the engine
Revved to explode
I gave no defence
Or tried to persuade
No words to offer
I let you evade.

Goo write N. Yes, I never said a word either. Had a day without words, went off in a huff, threw my toys out of my pram, etc! lol.
I would add hissy fit too, but it seems that is an outburst of anger, when words would be said.
lol, we all talk too much, good to have a day off
Some phrases - and people! - can become rather 'common', saying things like 'Oh yeah', 'Hooray' (Henry), 'Whohoo', etc. Or if upper class, saying 'Tally ho', 'Jolly hockey sticks', etc.
I am a commoner, wouldnt know about the upper class, they probably wouldnt speak to me lol
They would say 'Ok yah!' and stuff like that! lol.
and ide say get the marbles out of ya mouth when you speak to me lol
Lol. You had that day now? has it ended? Did you say any words in it? lol.
too many probably lol
A tumultuous exit and sad departure is conveyed in this poem with no resistance from the second party. Well written I could hear that car door and the engine.
many thanks. appreciated
