The Witness

Gewar

When I fought
off my hesitation
to let you see
my true form and nature,
illuminate
My last veil of deceit
with your harsh
aquamarine eyes.

Here you are
with your blunt honesty,
yet without
prejudice.
And you fly over my
convoluted heart.
You need neither map nor encouragement.

You just let me be.
