Perception

Eugene S.

In the days when things go dark, I find myself most free. I watch a world that never sees, yet holds the keys to what can be.

I know this world of black. It always has the knack of taking back what I consider free, but this world, well, it cannot see. And though I cry when things do die, when black attacks and things go back to greedy seas and infamy, I know deep down, I will not drown, for 'free' is free of everything. It sees the light of different skies where suns do rise and things are wise and 'light' is light that drowns the night.

It prods me, reminds me that once, I found the light around me, and that was when light found me.
