কয়লা মুছে যায় না ময়লা, কয়লা শুধু প্রজ্বলন;
চিত্তখনিতে কয়লার আশ্চর্য আগমন।
কয়লার দাবি, নতুন এক সভ্যতা;
আগ্নিদাহ দূর করে বর্বরতা,
নিঃশেষ করে বজ্রজ্বালা—
হিমশীতল কয়লা।
