Fainted

Maplespal

The venom courses throughout my protruding veins,
heightening my sense and keeps me focused in lanes.
Relying on each and every needles push threw,
addiction has set in and there's nothing I can do.
This venom that I feed myself helps me cry,
helps me shed tears, pull through and comply.
Repeating steps, marching towards my sights,
cross haired bombs they're dropping all nights.
Forwarding on, pushing my way arrogantly threw,
knowing that the visions they're not quite true.
Reality distorted to lesson the pains blow,
my addictions hidden behind a fainted glow.
