Angelic tears
Hot and burnt
Fell like rain
To gutters cursed
Broken cobble
Heart ablaze
Muttered verse
Letters phrased.
Invisible ropes
From skies above
Twisted in pain
This burning love
Silent steps
Upon hardened stone
A bitterness
To each bone.
A sobbing sigh
Reaches high
Above each cloud
The crying eye
Of city in ruins
Each block or stone
Each silent prayer
Without its home.

its ok, I get mixed up too lol
I knew this is today's poem really - heehee. How's that gutter there?!
This leaves the feel of ruin and destruction, devastation. Metaphorically it spells disaster on an emotional level. Nicely done
