They’re Here

E.J. Waling

They’re
here.
Alien
invasion.
Not
external.
Internal.
Self created,
inflicted.
Android
invasion.
Over the
horizon.
Liminal!
Now in
plain
view.
Marching
forward.
Integrating.
A.I.
Luminal Intelligence.
Artificial
agency.
Cloud
connection.
Reliance.
Hive mind
understanding.
One
connected
to all.
Nefarious
actors.
The twitch
of a
finger.
Twisting
algorithmic
input.
Pushing
buttons.
Grabbing
control.
Historically
so.
Humanity’s
underbelly.
Constant
human nature.
They’ll always
be those
who want
ultimate
control.
With this,
what could
possibly
go wrong?

This seems to me a poetic criticism of technology gone array. Well done in single word flow.
