Neon Lights

kering.karim

The warm hold of your hug sends me spiraling into the galaxies

For a second the world stops and all I can see is flamboyant neon lights

The light to an endless infinity of longing

This feels safe – an inevitable urge of belonging

My eyes constrict in awe of your colorful insides

The brightness of your aura dims my pupils unequivocally

Your hazel eyes are bright mirroring innocence and intimacy

My insides crave every ounce of atom of your existence

Your soul blazes my blemishes in eccentric flames of love

Your embrace torches light to my darkest doubts and peccadilloes

I don’t know how home looks like but this sure feels like it
