GOTHIC STAINED

nephilim56 ( Norman Dickson)

Each voiceless word
To midnight burn
Each weary thought
In twilight turns
Eyes that reflect
A soul in pain
Each orb a window
Gothic stained.

Sleepwalking
Into the screen
Of each unfolding
Hazy dream
A silent actor
Characterized
By solemn face
Searching eyes.

The point of midnight
Now slips away
To a cold dark dawn
The edge of day
Each voiceless word
No longer burns
Each weary thought
Its back is turned.
