In twisted fragments, you once did lie,
Discarded husks, with stories to deny,
Pistachio shells, so delicate and worn,
Forgotten remnants, of a snack now torn.
But now, it's time, to transform and renew,
To turn your brittle forms, into something anew,
A canvas waits, for your intricate design,
A mosaic born, from your fragmented spine.
Your gentle curves, and swirling patterns blend,
In shades of beige, and hues that never end,
Like nature's own, artistic, whimsical play,
You're reimagined, in a brighter, more vibrant way.
With every piece, a puzzle starts to form,
A masterpiece, that's born from your transformed norm,
Your brittle edges, now a delicate lace,
A testament to, the beauty in your empty space.
Oh, pistachio shells, you've been reborn,
Into a work of art, that's truly sworn,
To captivate, and inspire the eye,
A treasure trove, of wonder, as you touch the sky.
Your transformation, is a wondrous thing to see,
From discarded fragments, to a masterpiece of glee,
You've been remade, into a treasure so fine,
A beauty born, from the fragments of your former shrine.
Now, you're a symbol, of the beauty that's found,
In the most unexpected, and discarded grounds,
A reminder that, even in decay and decline,
Lies the potential, for a new, and vibrant design.

Very creative and clever piece. Enjoyable read, upbeat and fun!
Thank you.Katie
The items creative and inventive while the poem in detail and wonderful imagery portrays the construction of wonder from the discarded. Nicely written in rhyme and good meter it flows to the end and makes the metaphor that can be extrapolated to humans as well. Nicely done my friend
Thank you, Soren.Thank you so much for stopping by and reading my poem.
Most welcome
A good write, Friendship. Good work on the shells—great group of characters. There may be a children's book here.
Thank you, Jerry. I appreciate you stopping by and reading my poem, and for your kind words.
Friendship, this reads as both art-statement and quiet philosophy. The pistachio shells become a metaphor for people, histories, and moments deemed finished, yet still full of potential. Your pairing of poem and image makes that transformation tangible. As for you being an artist, I knew that from the moment I laid my eyes and heart on your poetry. And wow on those pistachio shells! Rock on all around! 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
