Power drains
Life force on the wane
Cellular mitosis going lame
Same old same
The ancient sages
Knew the game
Who feasts on the fluids?
Ask a druid
Two sticks up to tricks
Rubbing together
Make heat but never
Fire’s Light
When their energy is
Mechanically depleted
Lovers in bygone
Honeymoon nights
Knew that volcanic eruptions
Lead to destructions

A poem of biological, social, emotional, natural forces well put in metaphor and multilevel. Well done
Thanks a million. And thanks to another writer on this site that brought this response out of me!
You are most welcome
Mutley, this reads as a critique of consumption masquerading as vitality. Power feeds, bodies tire, wisdom warns, and what once felt volcanic ends in erosion. The poem traces that arc with sharp, unsentimental focus. Well done. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦⬛
Now that's an interesting take Tristan!
Retention and transmutation is such a simple thing, yet fiendishly difficult in practice. So says Mutley RAVISHES!
Well done...
Thanks a million!
👍❤️
Vivid and charged, this piece holds attention from start to finish.
The imagery lingers long after reading.
Thanks for dropping by, Thomas.
agree with your message - thanks
Merry Christmas
Thank you! Its not really "my" message. I got the inspiration from Mikhael Aivanhov.
Merry Christmas!
Hope you had a great X'mas day -
maybe you were inspired by Aivanhov- but thanks anyways for spreading it....
take care
