God, Please

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

He doesn't have to tell me as I know that I'm far from perfect,

You should have seen how I chased after them girls in a circuit.

Lust, jealousy and envy are not emotions from the heavenly,

Making the wrong decision down here can be rather deadly.

God, please why do these obstacles go up and in my way?

Friends fall by the wayside like teeth ripped out with decay.

This poem deals with temptations that like sugar rot the teeth. Heath resides in the strength to resist the urge. Well written
