Anxiety Echo

Jodie

Take a look into my eye
What can you see?
Nothing—just a void

Lately, I feel lost
Tell me if you find me
I’m still inside a hole
Please help me climb out

Why does it hurt?
Why do I want to stay numb?
Why is my anxiety breaking me?

Living in a world so fake, I lost the real me
We hurt the ones we love because of our pain
What do I do if I can’t find my way?

I’m not okay, I feel so scattered
My brain’s all over the place—I can’t find it
I’ve been going through the maze,
calling out for myself,
Is there a way out?

I hear the cry in the wilderness of a lost soul. it is an existential search not found in the eye but in the unity of being. A heartfelt write
