i have a pet canary he loves to sing all day
up down his ladder how he loves to play
he is very happy as happy as can be
when is cage was open he would come to me.
sit upon my shoulder and sing in to my ear
with his lovely song so very loud and clear
he sits there a while in his feathered coat
singing oh so beautiful and hitting every note.
when his song was finished back to his cage would flee
i just love him so and he belongs to me
