Another Year, Another Reckoning

SonamThago

Another year done and dusted,
Luckily without getting my back busted.
Not too sure, if it was a year all wasted,
Yet much have I parted, much I tasted.

People came and left,
Lessons learned and felt,
Unfamiliar territories smelt,
Destroying what I had once built.

A year that was full of drama,
Maybe it was my own karma.
No one can I blame,
Cause it was me who set the flame.

Let me put out this fire,
And rise beyond desire,
Regain once more my name,
And reclaim my old fame.
