Caressing Breeze

Carlos Alberto BUSTILLOS

Caressing Breeze

Soft warmth blowing through the winter,
gentle coolness spreading in the summer.
Breeze of joy, of feathered grace,
unstoppable whispers in endless space.

In the air that strokes the skin,
in the ether that lets go of sin.

Slowly, oh so slowly, tasting,
life as nectar, sweet and wasting.

Breaths of ocean’s tender fire,
breaths of love that never tire.
In the dance beneath the light,
in scattered scents of pure delight,
under music’s tender cover,
in the universe’s kiss, a lover.

Through the night of passing days,
kisses scatter in gentle ways.
In small gestures, love is spoken,
in poetic words, hearts awoken.

It is the breeze of love,
verses caressing from above.

Love set free,
verses free,
that blow as love,
eternally.
