don't ask how it began
ask how it ended...
my night before christmas...
was a cheer to my heart
but it wasn't what i though
all the presents I bought
and all the gifts I got
but all I wanted the night before
was to see you open my gift and soar
my dearest old friend
if only our freindship never ended
