Merry Christmas, Even If You Don't Feel Jolly

mtrotter1

Poetry is my world...

It is that warm blanket on those cold nights

It is the music that makes me dance,

I often wonder what I'd be without it

I often wonder what I'd be without this world...

My heart breaks when I see someone hurting

My heart breaks when I'm hurting,

For the holidays just don't seem the same anymore

I often wonder

What life would be like without the holidays...

To those of you who are suffering right now

If you love poetry, then you love being in your own imagination!

It's like being in a bubble

That floats anywhere you want it to float

And you're at peace for all eternity,

At least for that moment...

I know this poem is all over the place

But my thoughts scatter like marbles

And my heart is lonely on the holidays

And I feel my thoughts are numb

But nobody can silence me!

For I am in my own little world

And my thoughts speak out loud!

I often wonder, what would the world be like without humanity?

For it would sure be a peaceful place

For all eternity...

So Merry Christmas, even if you don't feel jolly

My heart goes out to you

Feel my love, feel my embrace

For everyone is suffering to some extent

We are all walking a fine line

Between earth and death....

So feel my love, feel my embrace

I will never let go

For I am suffering too

In this dark and crazy world...

For you are not alone, you are beautiful;

You are beautiful because you are here

And you made it to see another day,

Merry Christmas, even if you don't feel jolly

I hope you will find yourself

Happy someday...

My poetry speaks to me in dark places

And I live with no regrets

Because I'm just imagining things...

And by imagining things, my bubble feels safe

And I am able to float without cares

And I am able to float for all eternity

Even if it is just for a moment...

Merry Christmas.
