Majestic

Shahla Latifi

She stands tall—majestic and liberated—bathed in the midday sun across the cornfield.
Her sun-kissed skin glows brighter than the evening sky.
Her confident, deep, rounded breasts rise proudly, while her full lips seem eager to kiss the sun, rain, snow, and jasmine petals all year long. Surrounded by books, she converses with philosophers from centuries past and cherishes poets like Lorca, Pushkin, and Saadi.
Resting on a cloud’s pillow, she gazes at the moon and whispers to the gentle ocean waves that kiss the heart of the deep blue.
She is alive—part of the flowing layers of a new world.
She embodies the dreams of many girls lying quietly beneath the virgin sky, hoping for the day they will discover the vast world beyond their dark cells.
