Burn, my  star! By Vladimir Chuevsky.

Ksey_Gan

Burn,  brightly shine, my only star,  To burn

Burn, my welcoming native star!

You are my one and only cherished star,

There will never be another star.

When a clear night descends upon the earth,

Many stars gleam far in the heavens,

But you alone, my beautiful one afar worth

Shine with your delightful rays for me then.

Star of blessed hope and of  invar,

Star of the magical days of love,

You will forever be an unsetting star.

You’ll In my longing soul above!

By the heavenly power of your sweeten rays,

My whole life is illuminated and  illume on far.

And when I die, you will shine above my grave,

Burn, surely shine, my only star!

This poem speaks to the star whether person or inner self or God above it calls out for brightness and the continuing to burn. Well done
