Closing Time

𝓱𝓪𝔂𝓵𝓮𝓲𝓰𝓱

I stand on this stage

to end what I've started:

I had the last laugh,

left myself brokenhearted

and left coins on the eyes

of my dearly departed.

ill and getting worse,

I didn't love them all the time,

but they can't hurt me anymore

they've hollowed out like chimes.

see, I have rebuilt myself,

into what I couldn't be.

I don't want your situation,

my life belongs to me.
