Beatless

Maplespal

I paid my dues for leaving your side,
I got lost, into trouble, then I died.
There is nothing else for me to say,
it's time to let my memory fade away.
These thoughts rattle freely in my head,
these words I'll never say to have said.
The hole that would need to be filled,
so vast I prefer to be slowly killed.
Empty without you by my lonesome side,
lost, troubled, and my heart has died.

A heartfelt write about having one's vitals removed with the loss of someone. Lovely
