Carried Away

Teddy.15

I've carried my own laughter

and my deepest darkest pain

I've danced under the moon

and I've danced under the rain

I've walked the path I've chosen

and some that have chosen me

I've grieved under the palm trees

for a love now lost at sea

I've raised the bar of adventure...

I've carried myself for me.

Dearest Teddy, this is a poem of agency and survival. You name the dancing, the grief, the choosing, and let them all lead to that final truth…you carried yourself, and that matters. Beautifully done, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛

My dear Tristan, we all do it, everyone of us, even when we do not realize, thank you my dear friend. 🌹

Indeed! And thank you for reminding me of that on my poem, my dear friend! You are a blessing!

Teddy....Fantastic work...This hits me in the chest. You’ve carried it all—laughter, pain, love lost at sea—and you’re still standing, still walking, still dancing, still daring. There’s a weight and a freedom here at the same time, the kind that only comes from really living and surviving the dark as well as the light. I feel the grit, the salt, the pull of the path you’ve chosen—and the one that chose you. Raw, real, and unapologetically alive.

My dearest Thomas, your review is truly wonderful and I can't thank you enough for seeing inside the soul of this, you couldn't have said it better, in fact I see it more clearly from your soul too. So very humbled by this review dear friend, thank you, and Happy New Year. 🌹
