The Expansion

Shaunmatthewcpoetry

Broad strokes are brilliant once you open up,

Metaphysical changes to banish the corrupt.

The expansion is experienced once one's ready,

If not, the brain could become explosive confetti.

You have to read between the lines, not giving it all away,

Always living with these outlandish thoughts day by day.

See seething at the headlines, uneasiness at the headlines,

We're ruled over by fear and a real one forever shines.

YouTubers and TikTokers confirming what a soul already knows,

Nobody nears towards answers watching staged videos.

At times I can be annoyed, angry, irritable, well and truly vexed,

Where are the deep thinkers at and aren't our minds complex?

Three quarters of this stuff on Earth just doesn't make sense,

Don't waste your time trying to broaden views of the dense.

A poem searching for meaning in a world that is already programed to deceive and with others that believe what it is telling them. Scary and all too real.

Now we won't grow any more brain cells by attending to that three quarters of stuff on Earth! I know how to improve on the other quarter - just watch Eastenders, a huge mine of information and wisdom! lol.

Shaun, this comes through as restless and searching. There’s urgency here, but also fatigue…the sense of carrying questions that never quite shut off. Powerful, my friend. 🌹🖤🙏🕯️🐦‍⬛
